USA Hockey named a 30-player roster for the 2025 edition of the Rivalry Series against Canada. This year’s four games will serve as a tuneup for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy in February.
Canada will meet the US on Nov. 6 in Cleveland before a game in Buffalo two days later. The scene then shifts to Edmonton for two games on Dec. 10 and Dec. 13, respectively.
Of the 30-player roster, 11 squad members have previous Olympic experience including four-time Olympian Hilary Knight of PWHL Seattle and the Minnesota Frost’s Kendall Coyne Schofield, a three-time Olympian.
Canada is the defending Olympic champion from Beijing 2022, having defeated the United States, 3-2, in the gold-medal game.
Team USA opens play on Feb. 5 against Czechia. Canada, Finland and Switzerland round out the rest of Group A at Milano Cortina.
