Tempo signs centre Fagbenle to one-year, $1M deal

After loading up on guards, the Toronto Tempo has made an addition in the middle. The agent for centre Temi Fagbenle tells ESPN’s Alexa Philippou that his client has signed a one-year, $1 million deal with the expansion team.

The Dallas Wings selected UConn star Azzi Fudd with the first overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft, pairing the guard with her with former Huskies teammate and last year's top pick Paige Bueckers. The Toronto Tempo took UCLA's Kiki Rice with the sixth overall selection, making her the first draft pick in franchise history. The Tempo made three additional draft picks and also reportedly signed Kia Nurse to a contract on Monday.
