The Vancouver Whitecaps now have a timeline for Ralph Priso’s return.
The club announced on Tuesday that the Canada centre-back will miss the next eight to 10 weeks with a hamstring injury.
Ralph Priso is expected to make a full recovery in eight to 10 weeks after left hamstring strain in the first half of Canada's international friendly against Tunisia on March 31.

The Toronto native incurred the injury during last Tuesday’s friendly against Tunisia. Making his first start and second appearance for Canada, Priso was withdrawn after 26 minutes. He was worse for wear after a challenge on winger Sayfallah Ltaief. The match finished 0-0 at BMO Field.
The 23-year-old Priso made five starts for the Whitecaps this season prior to the injury. In his sixth MLS season, Priso previously suited up for his hometown Toronto FC and the Colorado Rapids. A converted midfielder, Priso had a breakout 2025, becoming a key member of a Whitecaps squad that reached the MLS Cup and CONCACAF Champions Cup Finals. For his career, Priso has made 104 league appearances.
The injury likely rules Priso out of the FIFA World Cup. Rosters are due on June 1 and the high end of his recovery time takes him into mid-June when play in the tournament will have already begun. Toronto and Vancouver are the two Canadian cities that will host matches beginning with Canada’s Group B opener against Bosnia and Herzegovina on June 12 at BMO Field.
