Both ‘golden goal’ pucks are heading to the Hockey Hall of Fame.

The Hall announced on social media on Friday that the gold-medal game-winning overtime goal puck from both the men’s and women’s Olympic finals will be on display soon in Toronto, along with other artifacts from the men’s and women’s Milano Cortina 2026 tournament.

The same goes for men’s tournament MVP Connor McDavid’s Team Canada sweater as well as Hilary Knight’s Team USA sweater and William Nylander’s Team Sweden sweater.

Megan Keller scored the American’s first golden goal last week, beating Canada’s Ann-Renee Desbiens with a backhand off an incredible move just over four minutes into the extra frame, giving the U.S. a 2-1 win. Canada led 1-0 late into the third period but Knight scored late in the frame to eventually send things to OT, setting up Keller’s three-on-three winner.

On the men’s side, Jack Hughes fired a wrist shot past Jordan Binnington with just over a minute and a half having gone by in the extra period to give USA a 2-1 overtime win of their own.

Hughes told TNT Sports this week he did not know where the puck went after he scored the winner. The IIHF confirmed to Sportico in a story posted Friday that the puck was secured directly after the game and is now with the Hockey Hall of Fame.
