The Tampa Bay Lightning announced on Sunday morning that they have recalled forward Conor Geekie and goaltender Brandon Halverson from the AHL’s Syracuse Crunch ahead of Game 1 of their first-round playoff series against the Montreal Canadiens.

The team also reassigned forwards Mitchell Chaffee and Jakob Pelletier, as well as defenceman Steven Santini, to the AHL.

Geekie, 21, scored 17 goals with 59 points in 57 games with the Crunch this season.

He also skated in 14 regular-season games with Tampa Bay this season, scoring one goal with two assists.

Halverson appeared in 43 games with Syracuse this season, going 24-11-6 with a .905 save percentage and 2.42 goals-against average.

The 30-year-old also appeared in two games for the Lightning.
