Adam Hadwin, Adam Svensson, and Ben Silverman have all finished one stroke outside the 3-under cut line at the Wyndham Championship, the PGA’s regular-season finale, ending any hopes of qualifying for next week’s FedEx Cup playoffs and their chances to earn full exempt status for the 2026 season.
Adam Hadwin and Ben Silverman shot matching 2-under 68s on Friday, while Svensson finished Saturday with a 1-under 69 after lightning suspended play in the second round.
All three golfers would have needed to win the tournament, at minimum, to get inside the top 70 and qualify for the three-event playoffs starting next week, but had the chance to jump up into the top 100 with a strong showing to earn their Tour cards next year.
Hadwin, of Moose Jaw, Sask., came into Thursday’s round in 134th place in the FedEx Cup standings, while Svensson, of Surrey, B.C., and Silverman, of Thornhill, Ont., entered in 162nd and 163rd.
Players who finish from 100 to 125 on the FedEx Cup standings will retain conditional status, meaning they will have limited access to Tour-sanctioned tournaments, while those outside of the top 125, Hadwin, Svensson, and Silverman included, will likely not be seeing starts at many of the stops on the calendar in 2026.
Svensson’s second round was paused on the 14th hole, and resumed early Saturday needing to play the final five holes at 2-under. He was able to birdie the par-3 17th to get within one stroke, but missed a 20-footer on the 18th that would have booked his spot for the weekend.
