The Kitchener Rangers acquired forward Gabriel Chiarot from the Brampton Steelheads on Monday in exchange for the rights to forward Adam Valentini and eight draft picks.
Chiarot, 19, has 15 goals and 25 points in 31 games with the Steelheads this season.

The 5-foot-11 winger was drafted 175th overall by the Vancouver Canucks in the 2025 NHL Draft after recording 31 goals and 35 points last season.
Brampton acquires Valentini, who originally committed to play for Kitchener in June but elected to join the University of Michigan in the NCAA instead in August.
Valentini, 17, was originally drafted 13th overall by the Steeleheads in the 2024 OHL Draft and his rights were dealt to Kitchener in September of 2024.
The 5-foot-11 centre has five goals and 17 points in 20 NCAA games this season.
Kitchener currently leads the Midwest Division with a 22-10-3 record, holding a two-point advantage over the London Knights.
Brampton sits in fourth place in the Central Division with a 12-18-5 record and are holding onto the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference with a two-point lead over the Sudbury Wolves.
