The Kitchener Rangers look to get back into the win column on Friday night when they visit the Soo Greyhounds on TSN+.

Kitchener is coming off a tight 3-0 loss to the Flint Firebirds on Wednesday that saw them give up all three goals in the third period.

Kitchener has been led offensively this season by winger Cameron Arquette, who has three goals and seven points in six games and is already well on his way to surpassing his career high of 15 points set last season. Forwards Tanner Lam and Haeden Ellis are directly behind him with six points each, and all three players are eligible for the 2026 NHL Draft.

The Rangers’ crease has been split evenly between netminders Jason Schaubel and Christian Kirsch through six games.

Forward Jordan Charron has led the team offensively and is tied for second in league scoring with eight goals and 12 points so far this season. The 6-foot-2 winger was taken 154th overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2025 draft.

The Greyhounds offence could become more potent later in the season as they are missing star centre Brady Martin. The Elora, Ont., native was drafted fifth overall by the Predators in last season’s draft and made his NHL debut Thursday against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

The 6-foot centre recorded 33 goals and 72 points in 57 games with the Soo last season.
