If you’ve followed along with BarDown for a while, you likely know that we love to play hockey. Of course, we’re generally used to D Division beer league level hockey, but every once in a while we are (for some reason) allowed to take the ice with professionals.
On a recent trip to New York (that also included an interview with Stanger Things star Gaten Matarazzo), the New York Sirens gave us some time with star goaltender Kayle Osborn.

Luca and Poc took the ice with Osborne to execute on one simple challenge; score as many goals as possible on 50 shots.
The first 15 shots for both of Luca and Poc were just straight point-blank slot shots. The next eight shots apiece were shootout attempts. Finally, they wrapped it up with some 2-on-1s. Without spoiling too much. It’s safe to say we can see why she’s the professional, and we are the amateurs.
Well it’s a good thing they got those 2-on-1s in the end, because otherwise they were staring down just FOUR total goals. Not only was Kayle absolutely stoning both the boys, but she was also roasting them in the process.
